Study Day with John Mercer

The study day is a practice for everyone that owuld like to understand on  a deeper level the old teachings and poractices of meditation and scripture. Are you struggling to maintain a sustained practice ? Do you wander what the obsticles to creating and sticking to a doscipline are? How can you overcome them? Is it possible ? 

This day will be for people who want to progress their understanding of how the mind works and how we can find discipline in ourselves.

We will begin at 9.00 with a 20 minute meditation.

We will hear from scriptures on the business of work - and I will launch the theme of the day ‘In reality, I do nothing.’

This will be put into practice by doing some light physical work. I am going to suggest that in service (again a word we will discuss) we will clean the building and…
