Spring Celebration - Floral Wall Decoration Workshop

This special class is aimed at teaching how to create a free-form sustainable wreath or swag, using a fusion of fresh seasonal native flora, in combination with herbs and dried plants as well as some more unusual exotic flowers rarely offered.

From these carefully selected flowers, foliage and structures, you will create your own individual arrangement : your choice of colours, shape , size and feeling it brings.

You will build your creation completely from scratch starting with the base and then moving on to dressing it !

You will lean how to arrange and fix together different plants using only a very minimal amount of gardening twine ( or none ), working with plant structures and shapes to use their flexibility to bind them together to create an elegant/ uplifting vibrant floral art piece . 

With this workshop we hope to encourage your creativity and enjoyment of the therapy that floral arranging brings, along with the joy of learing about where the plants originate from, their historical meanings and simbolism.

Everyone will go home with a beautiful, personal and 'one of a kind' floral hanging. 

In addition, everyone attending the workshop will recieve some complimentary packets of flower seeds.

All materials will be provided.

Our workshop will be presented by Olga Skavos.

Olga is a gardener and a floral artist. who operates a successful online wreath business. Her floral designs are all unique and made sustainability , where a lot of materials come from her garden in Suffolk or locally foraged with respect to nature resources. 

Olga has a great passion for growing tropical plants herself and this reflects in her work. She looks forward to sharing her skills and knowledge with you.
